Springdale, Arkansas – Montana Tractors announced today that it has closed on the acquisition of Farmtrac North America assets located in Tarboro, NC.
Acquisition of Farmtrac North America assets, to include property and equipment, will serve as a strategic addition to Montana Tractors business. The acquisition of assets should allow Montana Tractors’ dealer network to remain competitive during a very tough economy. Farmtrac North America assets consist of tractors manufactured by both Escorts Ltd. and LS Mtron.
“The addition of Farmtrac North America assets will assist in continuing to advance Montana Tractors’ plans for growth,” said Roger Kretchmer, VP of Sales, Montana Tractors. “Montana will continue to distribute tractors from Springdale through our dealership network in North America. Farmtrac’s tractors will compliment our business and will extend our ability to deliver quality products at a competitive price to our dealers and customers. This acquisition will continue to strengthen Montana as a leading provider of tractors, implements, and UTV’s,” stated Kretchmer.
